The moveable remains of the stratigraphic excavations campaign.

A preliminary analysis of the ceramic materials from the Montaccianico site revealed a very homogenous context.

In the two areas investigated mainly crocks, pans and jugs in unglazed, colourless clay (acroma grezza e semi depurate)were found.

A large number of fragments in maiolica arcaica were found in a red-coloured clay, all (except in one case) of a closed shape. It would therefore appear that the period brought to light might be attributed to the late thirteenth or beginning of the fourteenth century, in keeping with the northern Tuscan background.
